About Trucent Renewables
Founded in 2020, Trucent Renewable Chemicals is part of Trucent Inc., an organization founded on the idea that environmental sustainability and successful business operations should be one and the same. Our answer to the world’s current non-renewable chemical consumption is the production of oleochemicals derived from sustainable, locally sourced vegetable-based feedstocks.
Combining our sustainable oleic products, modular process and feedstock agility, we can help you quickly achieve your environmental, sustainability and governance commitments-even if you require small batches or custom, application-specific formulations.
We operate out of a 190,000-square-foot renewable chemical facility located in Van Wert, Ohio in the heart of the vegetable feedstock industry.
Our Approach
Feedstock
We don’t rely on animals to produce a consistent supply of high-quality fatty acids. Surrounded by sources for domestic, plant-based oils, we can provide you with an agile and uninterrupted supply chain.
Process
Our biocatalytic splitting technology (BST) break ups and partitions plant-based oils into their intermediate chemistries. This low-energy conversion process enables us to create sustainable chemical products while minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and without sacrificing performance or quality.
Products
Our products offer quality performance and are successful drop-in replacements for traditional tallow oleic, tall oil fatty acids (TOFA) and palm oil-derived oleic fractions. Our advanced production system and agile feedstock program allows us to create custom, application-specific formulations with fatty acid profiles that meet your strictest requirements.
